The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Tezpur College was set up way back in 2004 as per directives from the NAAC and UGC. Since then the cell has been actively working for the academic and other developments of the college. The college was first accreditated by NAAC in 2005. The 2nd Cycle of re-accreditation was done in 2010 and NAAC awarded Grade "B" with CGPA 2.31. The 3rd cycle of re-accreditation was done in 2019 and NAAC awarded Tezpur College grade "B+" with CGPA 2.52.
