Reviewer Guidelines

Expertise and Eligibility

  1. Reviewers should have knowledge and expertise in the relevant field of the submitted manuscript.
  2. They must be committed to maintaining the quality, integrity, and scholarly standards of the journal.

Confidentiality

  1. Manuscripts under review are confidential documents.
  2. Reviewers must not share, discuss, or use the content of the manuscript for personal or professional gain.

Objectivity and Fairness

  1. Reviews should be impartial, constructive, and based solely on the content of the manuscript.
  2. Personal biases, conflicts of interest, or discrimination must be strictly avoided.

Timeliness

  1. Reviewers are expected to complete their evaluations within the stipulated time frame to ensure smooth processing of submissions.

Evaluation Criteria

Reviewers should assess manuscripts on the following aspects:

  1. Originality: The manuscript should present original research and ideas.
  2. Clarity: The research objectives, methods, results, and conclusions should be clearly presented.
  3. Methodology: Research methods must be appropriate, clearly explained, and replicable.
  4. Ethical Compliance: Research should follow ethical standards and relevant regulations.
  5. References: Proper citation and acknowledgment of prior work should be provided.
  6. Language and Presentation: Manuscripts should be well-structured, coherent, and free from major errors.

Recommendations

  1. Reviewers should provide constructive feedback, highlight strengths and suggest improvements.
  2. Recommendations may include: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject.

Ethical Responsibility

  1. Reviewers must report any suspected plagiarism, ethical issues, or misconduct to the Editorial Board.
  2. All evaluations should uphold COPE guidelines and academic integrity.

Communication with Editorial Board

  1. Reviewers should communicate any conflicts of interest or inability to review a manuscript promptly to the Editorial Board.

By adhering to these guidelines, reviewers contribute to maintaining the quality, credibility, and integrity of research published in INSIGHT.
