A one-day workshop on "Intellectual Property Rights: Patent and Designing Process" was successfully conducted on 20th May. The session was graced by Dr. Ajit Debnath, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Economics, MSSV, Nagaon, who served as the resource person.
Dr. Debnath provided valuable insights into the fundamentals of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), focusing particularly on the processes of patent filing and design registration. The workshop aimed to create awareness among faculty members, researchers, and students about the importance of protecting intellectual creations and innovations. The interactive session highlighted real-world examples, legal frameworks, and procedures involved in securing patents and design rights, making it an informative and engaging experience for all participants.
