Department of Chemistry


 

The Department of Chemistry is a nascent academic unit dedicated to excellence in teaching and innovation. Since its inception in June 2023, the department has been committed to nurturing scientific curiosity and developing a strong foundation in Chemical Sciences among students. The objective of the department is to build human resources by providing them with quality education and practical knowledge in the field of Chemical Science. Our department also offers remedial and tutorial classes for slow and advanced learners invoking them with numerous applications at part with industrial standards. The curriculum is designed to meet contemporary academic and industrial needs, encouraging critical thinking, analytical ability and problem-solving skills. Accompanying laboratory courses are designed to introduce students to various laboratory apparatus, synthetic procedures and laboratory safety. In addition to academics, the department also emphasizes on ethical practices, sustainability, and community engagement.
