pi Day Celebration on 13th March, 2025 at Tezpur College

On April 13th, 2025, Department of Mathematics, Tezpur College celebrated  day in association with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Science Forum. The program was held in the I P Choudhury Conference Hall. The event began with a welcoming address by Principal Dr. Manoj Kumar Hazarika, followed by a self-written poem on  recited by librarian Dr. Mitali Goswami, followed by a talk on "Let's talk about Mathematics" from Dr. Himangshu Hazarika, HOD of Mathematics. The highlight was a creative  Making competition, won by Dhunuki Rabha, a 4^th semester student from Physics department. An exciting in-house quiz competition was conducted by Dr. Himangshu Hazarika, Assistant Professor from the Department of Mathematics. Ajaharul Haque, 4^th semester student from department of Mathematics adeptly anchored the entire program, ensuring that everything flowed smoothly. The program ends with vote of thanks from Ms. Rita Saikia Dutta, Vice Principal of Tezpur College. The  Day celebration was a tremendous success, offering an enriching experience that motivated both students and faculty to further explore the beautiful world of Mathematics.
