On February 19, 2025, a group of 29 students from the 6th and 4th semesters of the Department of Education went on a field study to Hajo to explore its culture and religious heritage. They were accompanied by three teachers—Trishna Kakaty, Bhaswatee Boruah and Dipankar Borah. During the trip, they visited famous sites such as Hayagriva Madhava Temple, Powa Mecca, Kedareswara Temple, Bhimor Thali, and Manasha Temple. They learned how people of different religions live together peacefully in Hajo. The students also explored various historical buildings and listened to interesting stories about the past. Visiting these places gave them a deeper understanding of Assam’s history and culture, making their classroom lessons more meaningful.
