Excursion for B.A/B.Sc 4th Semester Major Students to Arunachal Pradesh - 2025
Excursion to Arunachal Pradesh: 3 days excursion trip by *Department of Geography* from 06/04/25 till 08/04/2025 was an immense success, both educationally and socially.
Over the course of the excursion, our students had the opportunity to explore a variety of locations, such as Tippi Orchid Research Centre, Nag Mandir, Mandala Top, Thupsung Dhargye Long Buddist Monastery, Bomdila Pass,Chug Valley, Sangti Valley and many more, each offering a unique learning experience.
The students were further engaged in a field survey in a village in Chug Valley, where they collected the Socio-economic data, and learned about the geological features of the area and the significance of such natural resources.
The excursion also offered opportunities for the students to engage in team-building activities. These experiences promoted collaboration and problem-solving skills, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among them.
The success of this excursion was also due to the meticulous planning and support provided by Dr. Chayanika Bhuyan, Karan Thapa and Jetmoun Chakhap who ensured the smooth execution of the trip.
Overall, the excursion to Dirang has been a rewarding and enriching experience for our students, offering them both educational insights and lasting memories.
