Tezpur College has been serving the people of North Bank of Brahmaputra in their pursuance of higher learning since 1965. The college has come a long way from a humble beginning to become an important institution of higher education in the state. Tezpur College, which initially was one stream college of Arts only, now has commerce stream as well fulfilling a long pending demand since 2007. A college that has completed fifty glorious years in 2015 in imparting and expansion of higher education in the area has a long and distinguished past.
